I'm in my early 70s, a life long modeler and all round airplane nut.
I grew up on airports and have a lot of hands on experience with all the Grumman Amphibians, but mostly the Widgeon.
I build mostly 48th scale aircraft (with a few Wm. Bros. 32nd scale race planes tossed in) and 35th scale armor.
I used the Tamiya kit with the Just Plane Stuff -3 conversion.
Unlike some of them sold mine was in good shape with no major problems.
