Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2012. My grandfather served in the South African Airforce (SAAF) for 37 years. My father was in the South African Army for over 10 years, which is where my love for aircraft and armour comes from.

Air shows in South Africa were an absolute treat when I was growing up. Seeing SAAF Rooivalks, Cheetah's and Gripens, to English Electric Lightnings, Hawker Hunters and Buccaneers from Thunder City. To the legendary Spitfire Mk.IXe, P51D Mustang, Mirage lll, Mirage F1's and Shackleton MR3 from the SAAF Museum.

I have been lucky enough to fly in a Bell Huey and ex SAAF Harvard when I was living in South Africa, a Tiger Moth, Dakota DC3 & P51-D Mustang, in Australia.

I am currently building SAAF and IAF aircraft, with one or two armour pieces in the stash too.
