I mainly build in 1/72 scale and 1/144 for airliners.
I prefer them big, so multi-engined transports, bombers, special mission aircraft are the go. I also like to build modern RAAF and US Military, Finnish Air Force subjects.
I managed to finish 14 models for the year. Some were a concerted effort to reduce the number on the shelf of doom. The majority are 1/72 except for the Mirage (1/48) and USS Excelsior (1/1000).

This is an Airfix E-3 kit built as a B707. I used the JT3 engines from the kit and left off the AEW specific parts. Decals and tanker conversion parts are from Hawkeye Models Australia.
Finished this not long ago after it languished on the shelf of doom for 18 months. As it had been masked up for so long it was difficult to remove the cockpit masking. Patched up the cracked paint as best I could.
