    Tiny bits
Trying to make some steps on this built as well.
There are a lot of parts that need to be cleaned, usually not a problem, but the parts are so small that it is difficult to handle them gently. Also no locator pins to help placing the parts correctly.
Still working on the cockpit, engine and front landing gear.

Those parts look so delicate, my friend @johnb!
    Good progress so far!

    part A20
Some progress on the spartanic interior done. Building it like being told by the instructions is not really an option. Lots of parts have to be aligned correctly but there are no alignment points present.
Another thing will be part A20, this part is mentioned three times in the instructions, all with different shape and just one is available on the sprue. Need to have a good look in which is the correct A20 and what are the correct numbers for the other "A20" parts.

    Touch-up of the seatbelts required.

Nothing like a short-run kit to get the little grey cells working!

    Looks great, my friend @johnb!
Yep, finding which part goes where is not always easy with all kits!

    Small update
Literal small update, because eveything on this kit is small, even at 1/48.
Have to admire the people that have built this model in 1/72.
I also have the feeling that it takes ages to see any progress on this kit.
Fuselage, at least what looks like a fuselage, is closed now for the bottom part.
The part covering the top will be next.

Progress is clearly evident, my friend @johnb, quality wise also, as your chopper looks superb!

    Rotor

Start has been made on the rotor mechanism, nicely detailed with some PE parts provided. Also the blades are put together with the small jet engines at the blade tips. Those required some attention because a lot of flash was present.
Also the windscreen is applied and masks, also provided by the kit, have been attached.

@v1pro, @fiveten, thanks a lot for the compliments.

    Landing gear
Work on the landing gear gave me the feeling that I was playing Mikado.
So many sticks and no predefined contact points.
Levelling out the landing gear so that everything was a the right angles and the fuselage horizontal took quite some time.

    Masking
Not much masking tape required for this one. Just covering up the cockpit should be sufficient.
Primer at first and later on a single greenish camouflage color.

What an ingenius method of propulsion. I didn't realize that the Rotor tips were little jets. Your build is moving along nicely, looks delicate and fidely. You are doing a great job with it, @johnb.
