Interior looks awesome, Eric (@eb801). I have this kit lurking in my stash somewhere, so I will be following your build closely.

This kit is high on my wish list. Looking forward to see how it comes together.
If you go for the JG 300 scheme, make sure to use RLM 24 dark blue for the blue stripes, not the baby blue you often see in scale models and artwork.

Thanks George. This is a great kit and seems to go together easily. The fit is precise but one has to be careful to get rid of any minuscule sprue attachment grunge and try to avoid sanding it off if possible. The slightest bit of sanding any part edges can throw the alignment off especially around engine cowling and the fuselage halves.

Ronnie: I'm going to go with scheme "Blue 4" 12./JG5, Norway, Spring 1945
    LATEST PROGRESS
It's all going together very nicely. I did loose the gun sight to the carpet monster and had to substitute a slightly smaller one but only I will know.

Here's the color scheme I'm going with. Profile image came from Valiant's fabulous new edition of "Fw 190" by Richard A. Franks. A must have bible book for anyone modeling Fw 190 Butcher Birds. Both old and new editions of Eduard's Fw 190A-8 include decals for this bird. However the 2019 kit decals are much improved accuracy wise and look exactly like Valiant's color profile.

    Moving Right Along!
This kit has been a delight so far with no particular issues so there is not much to say. The fit is fantastic! Hats off to Eduard! I'm having so much fun building this that I have been sidetracked from my Kinetic Pucara/Malvinas build. Now I have two going on at once, sort of a first.

Wings are on. Tires and wheels have been painted along with the landing gear.

Eric, that looks really nice, even considering the quality of the kit. Your careful approach is going to pay off @eb801!

@airbum - thanks. This kit is every bit as good as their P-51D kits. No headaches whatsoever. I'm going to be very careful when it comes to the paint job which is right around the corner. All it takes is one goof up.

I think these Fw-190s are even better than the P-51Ds, no "fiddly" anywhere. You've done an excellent bit of work with this @eb801.

    MOVING FORWARD AT LAST!
After almost three months of unanticipated down time, I have finally resumed working again on this Fw and moved on to the paint shop. It's a pleasure to be back working again on this delightful model. Here's the current update. The colors are off due to the poor lighting on my end so please excuse.
