What a superb triple entry, my friend @lgardner and solid progress already!
    Looking forward to your progress!

@fiveten, thanks, Spiros. Getting those flaps in downward position is a simple process on this Tamiya kit.

@lgardner, a triplets, impressive, Louis. Really looking forward to this nice set of 109s, especially for the camouflage scheme of Helmut Wick. Wondering how you will get that done.

Louis - great choice - all of them! Guess what? - I'll be strapped in @lgardner!

And you are right on those "cans" being oxygen (same as used in the 123's Spiros and John built earlier) They are metal cans holding "bladders" and regulators.

One thing that is missing in these (if you want to go crazy on detailing) is the flare gun, mounted just forward of the breathing apparatus in the floor - but that is another matter entirely 🙂

Work done on the main landing gear.
    Added brake wires.
Going through my reference book, walkaround number 34, does show that the 109 had flexible loops in the brake wires. I did my best to copy them in 1/48 scale.

I stopped by. Nice touch on those brake lines and the flex loop, @johnb.

Ditto on that paint scheme and decals Spiros @fiveten.

Spiros (@fiveten): Your planes look even better with decals. I always worry that something will go wrong late in the build, but it looks like the decals are going down flawlessly.

John (@johnb): Well done on the hydraulic lines. I'm not sure if I can find a detailed photo of the 109A gear, but I will look. I gotta work to keep up with you both.

I got the cowlings placed today and have done a little light sanding and polishing. Been thinking about the best way to depict the weathered RLM 01 found on these planes. I have been taking photos using a digital camera and transferring them to my computer using an SD card as a work-around for the iPhone photo problem. Suddenly today I am having trouble uploading the photos from the SD card. I tried using my iPhone again, but I couldn't get any of the photos to upload. I am starting to run out of ideas for posting photos.
