    @lis, @j-healy, thanks for liking.

    A bit more detailing done on the interior this evening.
    After a cup of strong coffee I felt confident enough to take the smallest brush and start painting.
    Some touches here and there before I call this section done.

    And the scratch build seatbelts applied as well.

    Merry Christmas to all,

    Just before Christmas eve starts I did some finishing touches on the interior.
    Dry fitting in the fuselage seems promissing.
    Looks of the interior are as follows:

    @eb801, @fiveten, @j-healy, @tcinla, @lis, thanks for those motivating words.

    Fuselage closed

    Before closing the fuselage, a big piece of metal had to be placed inside the nose of the aircraft.
    Eduard provided a nicely shaped piece and the fitting was perfect.

    Fuselage was closed, fitting was very nice, and the IP received some touch-ups.
    Parts for the landing gear are ready to receive their first layer of paint.

    Let's see if we can make some more progress before the start of 2022

    Nice progress so far, my friend @johnb!
    The fuselage closed perfectly, the Eduard provided weight is most helpful. If i recall well the Airacobra is one difficult model to put the nose down, due to the limited space for adding weight.
    Looking forward to your progress!
