    @tcinla, @j-healy, @fiveten, @airbum, thanks for those motivating words.

    Coating is on
    After mounting the pitot tube and canopy, a bit of weathering was applied as well.
    Always difficult to get that shown correctly on a picture.
    Next was applying the matt coat and finally removing the canopy masks.
    Last step will be mounting the doors and the antenna wire.

    @fiveten, thanks a lot Spiros.

    Finished

    Well, at least I call it done. As always I have the feeling that I could have done better on certain aspects. That however will be dealed with on a next build.
    Last steps were mounting the cardoors and the antenna wire.

    I will present it on the headlines once I'm able to shoot some picture in good daylight. Currently we are facing a long period of fog, nearly one week, so no clear daylight or even a bit of sunshine.

    @johnb - You made it to the finish line and it looks great! Leaving the doors open is the only way to pose this Airacobra. Your interior looks really well done. Looking forward to seeing this down the road in headlines. Decent kit, don't you agree?
    What's your next project? Finishing up the Henschel?

    Nice work John, ‘Magnifique’ as the French would say! Looks like you could just step into those open doors.
    Picked up a few nice tips along this build.
    Looking forward to seeing this build in the Headlines.

    @eb801, @fiveten, @georgeswork, @tcinla, @j-healy, @lis, thanks a lot for the compliments, hope to be able to shoot some pictures today and present it on the headlines.

    Eric, next project, which is already running, is the Henschel 123 together with Spiros @fiveten. After that it will be the Wellington in 1/72 scale, a gift from my daughter for Christmas.

    Very well done sir your weathering/fading is subtle but visible, an effect that's not easy to achieve

    Since we finally had a day with sunshine (after a negative record of sunshine hours in January) I took the opportunity to shoot some pictures outdoor.
    Colors look so much better to my opinion.
