Jay @ssgt, the He-100 has gone through my mind...I have the Lindberg and MPM kits in my stash...that will be another project later on...it is a tiny plane.

John @johnb, yes this plane is starting to look faster. I think I have one more round on cleaning up a few minor places.

Making the propeller assembly, first the spinner needed work, it started out crushed. I worked it out slowly not to damage it any further and filled it with a little piece of cotton and super glue. The outside I covered the tip with gel super glue. After it cured I filed it into shape and then sanded it smooth.

Then I drilled a hole on both sides and then I inserted a piece of stretched sprue. This is the base for the propeller blades to where it will get glued on to.

The blades were cut from the sheet, filed, sanded into shape.

The final shot shows the whole assembly together.

It is really wonderful that you tackled all the above without resorting to aftermarket and came up with such a homogenous result, ready for the paint shop, my friend @v1pro!
    Looking forward to your progress!

Oh man, I forgot how primitive the primitive vacuforms were. This is one of Rareplanes real oldies. By about halfway through his production run, the kits were like night and day different. This is from the days of vacuforms that made people afraid of vacuforms. You're doing really well with this old dinosaur.

Thank you Spiros @fiveten, there is one after market item I might use and it is a replacement for the canopy. I'll see how this goes later, the original is yellowing and it is quite thick. Last week I ordered a Falcon Luftwaffe set which contains a canopy for a He-112. I am still waiting on its arrival.

Thank you Tom @tcinla. Yes this is their early years. 1969 is when they first release their first kits, while my build is a 1971 release. After I get done on this build I will start on Heller's He-112, I plan to do a straight out of the box build. I hope to have that done quickly.

@v1pro - yeah, they started really improving around 1975-76 - great surface detail and sharp molds.
