Great rescue on the spinner, Bob @v1pro
I was not expecting this amount of scratchbuilding, but you are tackling all these parts very nicely.
She is now really showing her beautiful curves.

Very laudable work on this project, Bob @v1pro ! And in 1/72 scale too! I’m interested to see some side by side photos when you have this and the Heller kit complete.

Thank you, John @johnb. This vacu-form is pretty basic so it will need some scratch building or the use of after-market parts. There are some vacu-form kits that will provide the main gears, engines, propeller and sometimes decals. Some parts might be made from white metal, resin or styrene.

So far, I feel this kit does capture the shape properly, it is attractive looking, hopefully my job doing the paint scheme will not take anything away.

Thank you Jay @ssgt. Agree on having the side-by-side shots of the Heller and Rareplane completed kits. I can't wait for that myself too.

Applied a few coats of paint. RLM 63 over RLM 65.

Last shot shows the Heller He-112 next to the Rareplane kit.

Masked both wing tips and rudder so I can airbrush the white paint.

I used Print Scale decals. They are nice and thin, but I think the wing insignias are a bit too large and they are slightly off register.

After a gloss coat, I put on the decals, and did some panel line high lighting.

The group shot consist of the Heller He-112 to the left, and two Rareplane's vac-form kits builds, the P-43 and the almost finished He-112.

My next area to deal with is the canopy. I might use the Falcon canopy, the Rareplane canopy is yellowing, thick and does not look right. But the Falcon is nice and clear but a bit wider than the fuselage width. I will deal with this after a good night sleep.

    Good night.

    Impressive progress, Bob @v1pro
It looks like quite a big aircraft for the two blade propellor.
The Falcon vacuum conapies do look great, looking forward to which one you will choose.

Those are turning out excellent Bob @v1pro ! You been doing such a fine job on them. They would have ended up as wreckage on my work bench.

Thank you John @johnb, Spiros @fiveten, Erik @airbum, and Jay @ssgt. I am getting close to the finish, I chose the Falcon canopy and it is coming along nicely.

Jay, I think if you made one, it will end up being a pretty nice.
