I hope it's not too late to join this group build. I will soon start building this interesting aircraft that caught my attention on my visits to Moscow's MAKS aviation salon.

I include one of the photos I took of this bird on my last visit in 2011.

Not too late at all, Sebastijan, welcome to the group! I was hoping someone would find kits of the Beriev flying boats. Now all we need is an Ekranoplan...

That will be a great addition! I did the Be-6 Madge a couple of years ago - the Beriev's have a distinctive look about them.

I have the A-90 Ekranoplan in my stash, but I seriously doubt, I'll be able to build it in the next few months.

OK, here we go. A little progress but progress nevertheless. Due to it's short-run nature it's gonna be quite an "interesting" build 😀

I have to say this model is fighting me all the way. Typical short-run kit where every join requires filling and sanding... Finally, there's something to show. Wings have already been painted. I have to add some little details and the painting can begin.

Thank you Jaime. Indeed, these Russian jet powered amphibians are really unique looking!

Here's some more work done. Hopefully I'll be able to finish her by the end of the year.
