Time to start Buccaneer #2 . Air-scoop also on the kit was a Little short shot so I used a UMM saw to cut the bad section out . Drilled various size holes in the plastic rod and glued on then blended with various Tamiya sanding sponges . Problem fixed Not sure of markings yet ! Thinking og one of the top two schemes .

Great entry and ditto start, Brian @f-104nut
The chosen scheme will definitely be an eye-catcher.

Excellent entry, my friend @f-104nut! Great save on the short shot air scoop too!
Both schemes are great, the yellow one is rarely seen modeled, very prototypical.

Nice rebuild on the scoop, Brian @f-104nut. I have the 1/72 version of this kit, as well as the decals to do either the yellow scheme or the gray/white scheme with red nose/tail. I have always liked the looks of the Buccaneer, so it will eventually make it to the workbench. Looking forward to your 2nd build, especially the paint scheme.

Finally decided on the scheme going for the XW529 camo . Going to build this one with the bomb bay opened with 4 x 1000lb bombs . Hole drilled out for the crew ladders . I will also use the slipper fuel tanks . Cockpit parts now ready for paint. Since i mask the cockpit off while paint i find it easier to glue the rear instrument panel to the left side of the cockpit wall instead of gluing it to the seat like instructions call for . I have the quinta studio 3D ejection seat set coming for thre kit seats .

A nice idea to build it with the bomb bay open, Brian @f-104nut
    Great start on the interior.
    Wing joints seem very solid.

One of the nose struts the axel pin was short shot so I drilled a hole through both sides of the struts and will use a piece of wire for axel . Center intake wheel well subassemblies ready for painting . Test fit the fuselage together what a beast of an airframe .

This plane looks like a real beast, Brian (@f-104nut). It has a very large and solid look. Can't wait for the paint.

Finally got some progress on the Buccaneer . I didnt have a Admiralty grey so i used Tamiya LP-15IJN grey for the cockpit . Sprayed mr color clear gloss for the kit cockpit decals . Rest of the tail parts been glued on as well .

Got the kit coclpit decals applies tonight . Then i used a new wash that works pretty good. 1 part future floor wax , 1 part water and a drop of tamiya flat black . Slop it on with a brush . Once dry i spray some clear flat and detail the cockkpit .
