I made a lot of progress this morning. We now have a pretty complete airplane. This kit features pretty amazing fit. So far I’ve just used a tad of Mr. Surfacer at the wingtips. No IP decal in mine, Tom. I was really surprised. I can swear the Seafire XVII had one and the kits were released at the same time. I used one that came from an Airfix Spitfire 22/24 sheet.

@j-healy - Huh. It's been a few years since I built mine, but I sure did think I used a kit decal on the panel.

    Great work on this one.

Interior looks great, John (@j-healy). You must have several planes on the assembly line.

What do you do when your SNJ gets paused while waiting for a useful canopy to arrive in the mail? You finish your Spitfire XII. Camo starts tommorow.

A good way to overcome the waiting time, John @j-healy.
Looking forward to the paint results.

Yep, that's a good use of waiting time, my friend @j-healy!

Good choice of a time-filler, John (@j-healy). My workbench is usually such a mess that I wouldn't dare have the parts of two kits laying around.

30 year old Xtracolor Ocean Grey laid down smooth. Dark green tommorow or Friday. I masked the tiny part of the top windscreen with bare metal foil, yellow tape for the rest of the transparencies.
