I agree, George @gblair , seems like I’ve always just missed the “ good ol days” by a little bit. Thank goodness for DVDs & old Monogram & Revell kits... they are reminders of yesteryear.

The movie “ Fighter Squadron” is a great one for P-47s and of course “ Strategic Air Command “ with Jimmy Stewart is an awesome B-36 & B-47 movie

This is going to be a great build in progress! The Crusader is one of my all time favourite US Navy aircraft. Those Marine F-8's got very dirty so a weathered F-8 would look nice. All the best for this build my friend.
