    Paintwork looks great, Yann @yann
Take care in continuing breaking parts and calling them MIA.

    Looking super, my friend @yann!
Yep, all those little protruding thingies will fly away if attached at early stages...

Camo looks great, Yann (@yann). I can't tell you how many times I have had to rebuild some part I have knocked off during painting. It is frustrating to get that far and then have to rebuild something. There are still times when I will be gluing something to the plane and the thought crosses my mind that I should probably have left it off until the end. And I usually end up knocking it off...

Hi Lis @lis. No problem encountered with the liquid mask. I use to get some with a certain brand but then I changed to Abteilung 502 and have to say that I'm very pleased with this product.

Many thanks guys for the comments on the paint work @johnb, @gblair, @fiveten. I tried always to glue everything together before paint shop in order to get an unified color. But fore sure it's a risk.

You are right, @yann. I also try to glue everything I can on the plane before painting, especially the landing gear. I like having something for the plane to sit on while the paint is drying. I do try to hold the pitot and radio mast till the end.

Not much happened those last days but I succeed to apply the KLIR. I tried a new way of drying the kit (The vice was occupied by the Mirage)...

Judged by the look in the actual photo of the landing gear bay, it seems the colour is actually Flat Aluminium/Aluminum (XF-16 if you use Tamiya Acrylic paint).

    Very nice paintwork, Yann @yann
And a very creative use of clothespins, but it definitely works.

Looks great, Yann (@yann). If I tried to use your scaffolding to dry my paint, I would find the model on the floor. That's why I always attach the landing gear before painting...no need for scaffolding. :o)

Hi Folks, I used my weekend to decaling the kit. I was surprised by the Airfix decals. All of them went smoothly on the surface. Except for the Roundels and the Code. I destroyed the first roundel (I think my water has cooled down a bit too much) and the letter 'J' has been destroyed as well. Hopefully I could find back the correct roundels and a 'J' (which has to be trimmed) in my decals collection (Decals from Spit Mk I from Tamiya). And there is the result.

On the Tamiya Letter 'J', I got a lot of silvering. I tried a new technic. I applied Tamiya extra thin cement on the silvered parts, then again applied Micro Set and eventually rub it with a cotton but in roder to remove the plastic carrying film.

Nice progress and nice save on your decals mishap, my friend @yann!
Yep, "new" Airfix decals are better than the old ones!

Hi Alan @Akcli2008, it was very difficult for me to judge the actual color of wheel well. I started by a flat light grey and decided after the advices of John @johnb to swop to aluminum.

Many thanks gents @fiveten @johnb @gblair, for the nice comments. Oh yes sometime I can be creative (clothespins)...
