This looks really cool, John @j-healy
Good luck in trying to stay cool with those temperatures.
Next week our temperatures will drop to 65 during the day.

Thanks, John! Enjoy the cool weather. 65 is a typical Winter day high for us.

Looks great, my friend @j-jealy! Around 95°F here, not bad.

Thanks, Spiros. I like 80s-90s. I need to visit Greece someday!

Looking real good John @j-healy. Decals are always the icing on the cake.

Too bad about all that hot weather going around the world. Out here on the coast of California, we’ve had one of the coolest, foggiest summers ever and the greenest. And for once, no major fires - yet. Everything is at least a month behind when it comes to tomatoes and dahlias etc. I have yet to sit out on our deck as it chills down like clockwork after 5pm. I guess I should be grateful because I know everyone’s boiling to death on the east side of our costal mountains.

A little more back and forth with the airbrush this morning. I’m pretty happy with the overall paint job at this point. Not a lot of decals on this one. I omitted all of the stencils from the underside per photos. Anyone know what color the inside edges of the flaps should be?

The paintwork does look great this way, John @j-healy
Regarding the inside edges of flaps, I would expect them to be chromate zinc but that is an assumption, likely expert here on iModeler known for sure the correct color.

Thanks, guys. Yes, this kit gets better and better as you build it. I had the same experience with all the other new Airfix 72 twins that I’ve built. The Wellington, Beaufort, and Whitley offered similar experiences. Lots of fun.

Great progress and awesome loks so far, my friend @j-healy!
As our friend @johnb said, if no info from any of the experts here becomes available, zinc chromate (green or, possibly even better, yellow) is always a safe choice for the inner flap edges.

That’s exactly what I did, guys! Hoping to finish this by tommorow.
