Sanding!
Having covered the lower wing and rudders in LqS, I finally found time to sand today
Almost two months ago, I assembled the wings, using the fuselage to keep them in place.
After this the wings got some LqS, and then nothing for almost two months!
As you can imagine it was quite dry, so no problems there. I do not seem to have taken any pictures of the LqS’d parts this time, so here you have a dry assembly, just to see some progress.

Rudders got some too, and were liberated today.
I added another layer on the flaps where the MG FF’s were on later models in order to make them smooth
The aft edge was smoothened too
And this is it after some coarse sanding
As the plane will have a gloss finish it has to be a lot better than this.
next up – I hope it will be after some primer/sanding/primer/sanding. Stay tuned to find out!
