Someone on another modeling forum I frequent sent me these IJN figures to use for my final display. I got a base coat on them in preparation to hand paint them in a few days:

I got the gloss varnish on 2 days ago in preparation of decals. Tonight I got all the decals on:

It’s bitter sweet completing this step, as I have finally finished using all the decals from the giant decal sheet that was supplied for all 3 kits.

Tomorrow I will apply another gloss varnish to reduce silvering and as a layer of protection before oil washes.
