Nothing finished in a while, but I'm cracking-on with three WWII builds just now:

Hasegawa 'Kate' and Hurricane, and an Eduard F6F - all 1:48.

These look great, Ian (@ij001). Building three seems productive to me. I work on one at a time, and if I run out of steam on that one, then my production drops to zero. I alternate between my models and my train layout. If I get burned out on one, I move to the other. Looking forward to the builds.

I rarely do more than two at a time. But right now, I have the time and enthusiasm, so why not ?

    Decals on both !

For the Hellcat, I used Freightdog sheet 48-004 (sadly long since unavailable). The Hurricane is a Model Alliance sheet 48-149... you may still be a able to get this, but it is very rare. Both sheets are around fifteen years old and behaved perfectly.

The paint and decals all look perfect, Ian (@ij001). I like the unusual decals on the hurricane, and I also like the RN markings on the Hellcat. I think decals now have a much longer shelf-life than they used to. I remember back when I first started modeling that decals didn't last longer than a few years, but now they are much more resilient. I think it also depends on how the decals have been stored. I used some decals that I got in the 1970s on a kit recently and they worked perfectly. I have a bunch of decals stored in my hobby room, so I hope they last a long time.
