    Wash
After a clear coat, black wash was applied to make the panel lines more visible and start the weathering.
Black acrylic paint thinned with water as panel liner.

    John, @johnb
I have not stopped in to see your Typhoon lately. I can see how much progress you have made, and boy it sure does look good !

Judging from the last posting photos, you just might be posting this one in the headlines section very soon. 🙂

I finally got to read through this thread, "wow" is what first went through my mind. Amazing work on both of your builds, the progression shots are great tutorials for others to use on their future Typhoon builds.

Spiros @fiveten, I love the markings you have chosen for your build and John @johnb, your black wash is going to look great!

Looking forward to your final shots.

Fantastic painting! Did you use gloss clear coat?

@lis, thanks Lis, yes, clear coat was used. After applying satin coat the shininess should be gone.

    Matt coat
After applying some weathering it was time to give her a matt coat.
Just some small corrections and removing the canopy masks before this one is finished as well.
Decals are slightly thick and the coating does not hide the edges of them.
