You must have had a lot of carrots Morne! Incredible small details - they are (as usual with your builds) look awesome when finished. That ruler really does give it away!

Thanks Erik. The old Mk. 1 eyeballs are taking a beating for sure. I must invest in one of those magnifying glasses that clip onto a pair of glasses. Would make life much easier! I must say this is the most detail I have added to a kit.

    Incredible again, Morne.
    You keep on suprising us.
How did you create those half rounded shapes?
For magnifers I use a headstrap with various magnifying glasses which can be attached to that.
I wear glasses myself and with such a headstrap it does not interfere.

Hi John. That's what I need! I will definitely invest in a pair! The half round shaped radar equipment comprised of Styrene hollow tube to which I glued two round styrene disks. It was then sanded to a dome shape using a needle file.

This is such a goegeous looking bay, my friend @mornem; and I echo Erik's and John's comments above!
    Scratchbuilding paradise!

Thanks my friend! The difficult part is adding all the wiring afterwards! Lol

Today I managed to fit all the wiring to the avionics bay. It was a slow process to make all the wires fit perfectly in such a small space. All the components of the avionics bay fit together like a jigsaw puzzle allowing for the painting of components prior to assembly with all wiring in place.

    Exceptional work, Morne.
You were even able to bundle the wires, unbelieveble.
What kind of wire did you use?

Thanks guys I appreciate your comments and support on this build! The wiring in the avionics bay is a mixture of 0,2 - 0.4 mm copper and soldering wire. Soldering wire is the best to work with.

Hi guys. After finishing the avionics bay, I decided to detail the ejection seats. After 5 hours and 36 added details I call this one finish. Details were scratchbuilt using plasticard, Evergreen styrene, copper wire, brass tubing, pewter foil, solder wire, Tamiya white masking tape and a BandAid replicating the seat padding. Resin seats and a cockpit set is available as aftermarket add ons for the CF-100. However, I decided to rather add scratchbuilt details and save some money in the process.

Thanks my friend. Even though it was slow going, it was a rather trouble free detailing session. Only the seat harness proved a challenge.
