Hello everyone
Started today, I hope to finish it until September. I will use the very good Eduard kit of MiG-21MF Weekend Edition and the Icaerodesign conversion set.
First, some paint job in the resin cockpit area.
It will be the 5819, lost in a crash(pilot survived) in 2004 near Câmpia Turzii.

The front RWR sensors are much too big for the scale.
First coat of MrSurfacer... Some problems appeared.

I never knew the MiG-21 gained MFDs. Always thought they all still had steam gauges. It's one of those planes that has everything on it say I'm fast! You mentioned the pilot ejected from this one. I've never understood why they went away from the single piece canopy that hooked onto the seat and shielded the pilot from wind blast during an ejection. It really was a neat idea! Anyway, this is looking fantastic!
