    Dark green airbrushed

I set my Revell Vario at its finest setting, lowered the pressure and thinned the paint a tad more than normal. Of course, some looping corrections will be made.
    Next the light green!

    Light green applied

Next is the "finalizing" touch up with tan.
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Nicely airbrushed, Spiros.
That is a great scheme for the Buckeye.

Looking good, Spiros. I used to enjoy seeing those training on the Gulf coast.

Thanks John @j-healy! They are nice, solid trainers!

To my knowledge they are among few planes that have nice spin recovery characteristics. In fact, deliberate spin (and recovery, of course!) is a part of T-2 pilot training. Here's a video I found in Youtube:

    Cheers!

Masking tape removed, then the wing tanks' inner half was masked and the outer half received a coat of Humbrol 130 Satin White. A white basis will thus be provided, so that the red "chequered" decal can be applied, in order to hopefully achieve the characteristic "Buckeye" red/white chequered painted wing tanks:

    Thanks for stopping by.
