    Cockpit in progress

The pilots were attached to the seats and they in turn were inserted in the cockpit. Positioning the seats as per instructions, results in being too low, especially the front one. Hence, I attached the seats at heights that would look like in reality. Due to this "improvisation", an awkward gap was " emerged" aft of the front seat. It was filled with liquefied styrene, which doubled acted as a solid seat attachment to the rear wall.

    More to come!

Yes, Buckeye cockpits look rather "elevated" in the flesh. Good to see LqS in use too my friend 🙂

    Nice cockpit progress, Spiros. @fiveten
That seat is for sure fixed solidly.
Much better than the original seats.

Thanks my friends @airbum and @johnb!
Yep, the per instructions recommended seat positions were unrealistically low...

Looking good Spiros! Nice job on the cockpit fix, beats having the gap behind the seat.

    If you're interested, here's the T-2 I did a while back...

Thanks, my friends @jetmex and @roofrat!
Loved your build, Jaime! I In fact, I will use it as a guide for some finalizations in my model. I, too, have the same kit (the "Two Bobs" version), that I intend to build as a HAF bird one day. This will, of course, be "wheels down".

    Decals applied

The cartograf decals performed flawlessly, they add a lot to the final looks of the kit. As expected, the decals applied to the outside areas of the wing tanks did not conform well, so you now see them at an interim stage of Mr Mark Softer applications.
Then, a lot of touchups here and there will be performed.
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Touchup loops in process...

A trial and error touchup process is on, mainly at the tip tanks external area.
I also painted the nose radome and the intake lips black.
    Waiting to dry...
