I can echo everything from Louis (@lgardner) and Chuck (@uscusn). I built this plane a while ago and just left the control surfaces alone. You won't have any trouble building the kit as long as you think your way through each step and make sure you know how everything goes together. A little dry-fitting helps. I also always spray a thin layer of white to prepare for either yellow or red.

@starfar - go to Yellow Wings Decals and buy their "Dive Bomber" decal set. It has the airplane you want to do, and full painting instructions. Don't worry about the ribbing on the wing - it looks fine under the "proverbial coat of paint."
Here's the one I did. You should also go to my Modeling Madness review - it will help you a lot.

Nice to see someone taking on this kit Dimitry@starfar. I have the original Accurate Vindicator release and they sent me corrected fuselage sprue replacements as the first time around the fuselage halves had very bad sink marks. To their credit they jumped on it right away and fixed the problem. I have made several attempts to finish this kit but I always loose interest for some reason. The Academy instructions are far superior to what Accurate provided back when. Do follow all the advice you been getting. TC's MM review is very helpful like he mentioned. I look forward to following your build. I hope it goes smoothly and you will inspire me to get to it.

In this picture it looks like the struts are continuous.
