    Hi Louis,

Your Panther looks excellent. I especially like the camo, which is a nice change from the plain overall sand scheme. Good luck with the figure painting, which is something I enjoy but rarely get right!

    Cheers Gregor

    Louis,
Ha! Yes - this does bring back memories! Some good; some not so much.

This is an awesome Panther Panzer. Great job, Louis!

Great job on the tank Louis. I don't do armour but I love watching the builds

Thanks guys for the compliments. Tonight I finished my Panther. I mixed up some chalk dust. I applied it over the whole model.

Other than painting the crew figures it's done.

Here's how it turned out. Enjoy !

Thanks Greg ! Since I had my "Kursk" dust mixed up, I decided to finish up the companion for the Panther.

Speaking of targets ...how about a worn out looking KV-1 ?

Lou, this is a beautiful panther. As good a piece of armour as ever I've seen. I'm glad you shared this with us and loved the wip; a real masterclass. One of my favourite photos is of a panther; can't tell you what 'speaks' to me so much about it but I can look at it for ages just thinking.

Think it was taken in France.
I'm definitely inspired and going to get a Tiger on the bench soon.

"Killer" job. I've gotta build this one. The BMF on the wheels is a really good idea.
    Very good article. Thanks. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words gents !

I have never seen that photo of the burned out Panther David... It does speak volumes. I have seen a few photos of little kids climbing and playing on various knocked out German tanks, but never this one. Thanks for sharing it.

I posted an article on the Panther after I was completed.

Here's a link to the posting:
