I grew up in Iowa and joined the USAF as a Crew Chief. (F-16/A-10) I think I have been involved in aircraft since I can remember. My Uncle Ernest flew in a B-17F "Miss Charlotte" which sadly went down 9/10/44. I have been a model builder and an aviation nut since day 1. I currently write Military Aviation History I have covered the P-61 Black Widow and the F-105's in SEA. I am currently working on the F-101 Voodoo series. I love doing WWII models the most, especially Luftwaffe and Japanese. and I usually gather all the books and information I can to learn what I can about my subject. In the same regards I believe in sharing what I learn. History is meant to be passed on.
