1/32 scale modeling

Ki-84

Here is another old build, this time a 1/32 Hasegawa Ki-84.

Koga’s Zero

"ONE OF THE GREATEST PRIZES OF THE PACIFIC WAR." As part of the greater battle of Midway, this Zero flew from the Ryujo and took part in a raid on Dutch Harbor in the Aleutians. The Zero was damaged in that raid and made a [...]

1/32 VF-111 F-8c

Fisher conversion added. Ce MB Mk5 Seat, Eduard color etch, Mr. Color and Floquil paints. Flame holder was scratched, and I did the center wing myself by removing the hump and filling/ reshaping with Magic Sculpt. I was not fond of using [...]

Fisher 1/32 F9F-5 Panther

Built OOB...just like the F9F-8 Cougar a fantastic resin kit! Paint was Mr Color, and gloss was Mr Color out of the rattle can. Thanks, Rob

WNW 1/32 Fokker E.III (late)

A kit that's a lot easier than you might expect. I would recommend it as a "first rigging model" to someone considering doing WW1 models, it's really that simple. Done as the E.III Max Immelmann was shot down in. Completely [...]

1/32 F-100D

Built out of the box (before all the resin was out). I stretched the wing tanks to the proper size and added napalm from a Trumpeter 1/32F-105. Thanks, Rob

1/32 hasegawa A-4e

I added a seat, scribed the bird, and added shrikes from a Trumpeter F-105 (which I had to fix). Paint is Floquil, Decals are kit. Thanks, Rob

1/32 Fisher F9F-8 Cougar

Built out of the box. This is a fantastic resin kit! Painted with Mr. Color, glossed using the Mr Color rattle can, and the deck is from nautilus models. Thanks, Rob

WNW 1/32 Junkers J.I

I had finally concluded no one would ever do this airplane in a mainstream injection-molded kit, but then WNW came along and made it one of their first releases. There is a problem with the ailerons having a gap at the inboard end. The [...]

WNW 1/32 Pfalz D.XII

Another great WNW kit. I've said it before and will say it again: you can't go wrong with one of these kits. Rigging on this is relatively easy for the "rigging challenged." As is the case with the rest of the series, you can [...]
