Sea King early morning

September 6, 2014 in Uncategorized

Well here is one warming up in the morning. I haven’t seen anyone else model this
toy/kit. But after I bought one I just had to put some lipstick on her. This is the New Ray
Sky Pilot Sea King approximately 1/40 scale? closer to 1/35. The debate is still going on. This is a screw together model. What got me interested is the almost exact dimensions and the really nice cockpit. I have added a Tamiya gearbox for the main rotor and a micro motor for the tail rotor. Scratched winch and LED marker lights. Micro switches on the bottom and all battery’s stored inside. Decals from the spare box and paint from Testors. Photographed in dim lighting, Hey, it’s 6am. She is still shining from the dew.

I hope you enjoy.

    • Frank, Thanks. I have to say I love this forum. Your message just rang up on my phone so I was able to say thanks. On most forums this would have gone unnoticed by the person who posted. As it was a few days ago.
      Thank you again.
