Hawker Hunter F 58, J4030, Patrouille Suisse, Swiss Air Force Dubendorf Air Base 1982.

February 1, 2017 in Aviation

1/72 Revell, almost OOB, I replaced ejection handles with copper wire, removed molded instrument detail, added intake covers and have canopy open as it doesn’t fit properly closed, finished in Humbrol and MM enamels with Future and Xtra flat over kit decals altered to change the time of operation.

  1. Nice result, Allan….what’s with the piece of wood? Did you use it to assist in the painting of the demarcation line or what? I like how it turned out.

  2. Another great build Allan. I love the fact you look for unusual schemes/countries for your finishes.

  3. Allan, always have loved the Hunter, just a beautiful airplane. Not so usual markings, and I well remember a shot of one going vertical through some of the Alps.

  4. Cracking Hunter, mate. Flawless and perfect, like the real thing !

  5. I like all of the little details. that’s what makes this one stand out in the crowd. The air intake covers are icing on the cake………………
    Very good Sir !!!!

  6. Great job sir! Nice aircraft.

  7. A classic aircraft, and it looks fine in these Swiss markings.

  8. Hello Allan,
Well done. Famous aircraft and stil kicking around in the sky today.
    Regards, Dirk
