1/72 Ace, I modified the pilot seat and the lift engines, otherwise OOB, finished in MM enamels with MM FS 20000 acrylic over kit decals, built 2007.

  1. Allan, isn’t she a quirky looking little plane? The two seater looks even more bizarre! (I’m gonna get me one of those!) Avia obscuris!

  2. An odd little plane for sure, but I think they look quite good once they’re cleaned up and in the air! What surprised me is even with the short span the wings still fold! Just wondering what color you chose for the blue. I chose Blue Angel blue with medium green for the underside. I wish they would have given us the option of an early scheme as well. Thanks for bringing us some nice out of the ordinary!

  3. Very nice! I’ve got a set of decals/stencils to build one of these, and it’s high on the priority list – such an eccentric-looking bird.
