Airfix 1/72 Bird Dog
The Airfix Bird dog in the scheme of a NZ owned aircraft ZK-NAM.
I replaced the ill fitting cokpit roof clear parts, and removed the horrible ejector pin marks on the tail and wings, but left everything pretty much as in the box.
Used frisk film for masking the pattern, a first time for me, and I found it pretty easy to do, and as long as the edge were burnished down it sealed really well.
A nice bright scheme anyway..

One of those kits that we seldom see built! Nice work!

Good to see an old Airfix classic built. I am old enough to remember this kit in blister packaging. Those were the days! Wait... No, there was no Internet. I change my mind 😆

very cool- thought it was a tiger meet aircraft at first glance, but it just didn't seem to fit!... neat presentation/scheme.

Thanks Dan, it is a very cool scheme. Certainly stand out in a row of cream coloured civil machines 😆

FANTASTIC MODEL .. was wondering IF a "Bird-dog" was gonna get in here .. my Uncle had one, a Cessna L-19, that was a JOY to fly in ..
