Eduard 1/48th scale Fokker Dr.1 (including work in progress photo’s)
This is the Eduard 1/48th scale Fokker Dr.1. Built out of box using the kit decals. Model Master and Xtra Color paints along with Gunsight Graphic decals for the streaked camouflage were used. I included some pictures of the assembly as well as the finished plane on a base. The World War I pilot figure is from Andrea (if I remember correctly). The base was made using Woodland Scenic Products.

This painted fabric looks stunning. You wouldn’t believe these are decals.

Marvelous. Just marvelous. I did one of these with those streaky decals, and it looks good, but yours looks great.
“Old Fumble Fingers” strikes again – I meant to give you a “10” not a “9”. Maybe Martin can fix that.

That’s a real beauty, Dan. What color did you use as a foundation for the decals?

I used Humbrol clear doped linen as a base under the decals. I worked well at least in my opinion as far as a color match for the base.

Fantastic! I can’t get over the quality of the build, and the diorama- I have to make a choice to set aside one of the shelves in my display area for a diorama like this.
