Very sharp build, Kevin. That’s a beautiful scheme, too. Did you use the kit decals or are they aftermarket?

Thank you. The “07” tail markings were the only kit decals used. Two coats of Glosscote over them first before they were dipped in water. They would have cracked in a million pieces otherwise. The hinomarus are from an AeroMaster sheet.

Just saw this model in person this past Saturday, and it’s a really superb realization of that old kit, which really was “ahead of its time.”
