1/48 Battle of France Spitfire I

This is an almost self-building kit. Painted and finished with Humbrol enamels and Superscale decals. The only thing I really added to this one was a set of belts.

    Very nicely done. I think the Tamiya Spits in this scale are some of the best on the market. Did you brush paint it John?

    • No Gregor, airbrushed it all. Humbrol #33 and #130 underneath, masked with Tamiya tape. I then sprayed the top Humbrol Dark Earth #29, masked with silly putty and tape. I sprayed Humbrol #116 for the dark green. I used a Tamiya rattle can silver for the wheels, struts, and inside the gear doors.
