1/72 Fine Molds Bf-109F-2
I’m in as well! This is the Fine Molds Bf-109F-2 in the colours of 206-victory ace Hans Philipp from JG 54. A very nice kit that builds easily! Decals are from the old Aeromaster “Luftwaffe Top Guns”-sheet of 1990s vintage. Paint is mostly Vallejo with the “squiggles” done using Gunze paints.
I have several of the FM 109s in the stash, might be time to do another time. Considering that the 109 is one of my all time favourite aircraft the number of finished models on the shelf is rather meagre: this is the only one 🙂 !

Wow! You did that in 1/72!! I found it hard in 1/32. Really really nice.

Thanks Tom!
It does work well in even smaller scale, these are Eduard 1/144 birds:

Great work. I model in 1:72 exclusively, and I find that the Gunze acrylics are the only paint that allows me to do fine detail like this. The pigments are extremely fine, and when thinned to the appropriate ratio you can get some very fine soft lines without any airbrush clogging.
Hard to believe those 1:144 birds, though…

Very nice paint job. Especially for this scale.

Excellent finish on a very nice build, especially considering this is 72nd scale. Not to mention those 144th scale 262s…

Agree that the freehand airbrushing work here is commendable.
