Attack of the 109s, Pt. 1: 1/32 Bf-109B-2
Eduard Weekend Bf-109E-1 kit, mated to Alley Cat’s Bf-109B-2 conversion, using the Alley Cat decals. Lots of folks (thanks to the “experts” – as my father with 150 independent patents once described an “expert”: a drip under pressure) don’t realize, the Bf-109B-2s sent to Spain were Luftwaffe airplanes, and thus in 70/71/65. This is one with its paint faded under the Spanish sun.

Very, very nice, as usual, Tom.
Love the SCW planes/markings.
I have one around here somewhere that I should post….

Unusual subject! Didn’t some of these early 109’s have Rolls Royce engines?

The first prototype did. After that the only 109s with Rolls-Royce engines were Spanish.
