Fill ‘er up…1/48 Hasegawa Ki-44 gets gassed.
I had built the 1/48 Isuzu petrol truck with the Ki-45 Kawasaki "Nick" it came with, and thought it would work well with the Shoki too. So I set up this quick scene using a generic base, a couple of drums and a bicycle from an Eduard japanese ground crew set. The Ki-44 represents a plane of the 85th Sentai in China 1943.
Niiice!
Yep, that's very cool! And, as someone who still drives an Isuzu Trooper, thanks for the Isuzu truck!

No wonder that s****r won glory at a Nats. The paint job is true art.
Wooops!... sorry- I got confoozed again... I knwo this one isn't the Nats winner- it was the Ki-84. Hey, I'm just a myopic Kraut-a-holic... Japanese radials all look the same to me. 😉
This is a wonderful build Bill @billkoppos!
