Ever seen one like this??
In the year 2112 (sorry about that I'm a bit of a Rush fan)with the arab/Israeli conflict still rumbling on the IASDF ,thats the Israeli Air and Space Defence force for those who don't know, needed a new ultra fast interceptor and decided to go with the new British built Angel, they were modified to meet Israel's requirements and so the Angel Mk2 was born complete with the advanced avionics hump on the spine similar to that seen on the old A4 Skyhawk ,the long range fuel tank and improved heavy gauge cannon firing through the nose.
This is the only What if I have done,I was going to build this kit OOB and paint her up in classic battle of britain camo but then this idea started to form in my noggin and this is what I finished up with,I have seen a few different Angel interceptors at club events in the U.K. but I like mine best, but then I would say that wouldn't I?
Not sure if Captain Scarlet was broadcast outside the U.K.

Holy matzohballs, Batman. It's a whiffer! I reckon that anAngel Mark II would be an upgrade to Archangel. Adios, Larry.

Errrr, not sure what a whiffer is or for that matter an archangel but hopefully its a compliment,do know what matzohball soup is ,tried it once in NYC and liked it.

1) A"whiffer" is colloquial slang for a "what-if?" project. 2) In the Christian heavenly heirarchy, an archangel is the senior "rank" among the angels. Adios, Larry.

Thanks for the reply Larry,do you remember Captain Scarlet?,it was a sci- fi kids show in early 70's in the U.K. done with puppets (really!) and models same as Thunderbirds -happy days.

Ah yes, the OLD Angel Interceptor. I built the reissued one as it came OOB a while ago --old school Airfix with rotten fit - needed loads of filler, but still good fun. I was a Captain Scarlett fan as a kid and watched the TV series - happy days! I like your take on it Neil - looks good in the camo scheme. Nice one!
