Fine Molds 1:48, Yokusuka D4Y2 Judy “nightfighter”
I've build this kit a year ago.
The kit was not an easy build... the instructions were in JAPANESE!
Painted with Tamiya acrylics IJN Green, IJN Grey, Yellow with a touch of red for IFF and lines on prop. The brown colour of the prop is Revell enamel red brown. Exhaust stains are sprayed with Revell enamels. Chipping is done with Revell silver.
Decals used are the tailcode, numbers on wheelcovers and the little red stencils on the wingroot.

Hi, I'm in the middle of this kit. It is very dificult to find some real picture of it (had found 6 picture in low resolution). For sure i will put the result on the portal. Estimate duration 4 month:) (I had two small babyboys so can work only few hours per week).
Thanks for inspiration:) Best regards Lukas
It has been a while since I built that kit. I remember that I didn't use the metal canon provided with the kit because it bent easily. I made one of parts of an other kit , out of my "spare parts box".
There are not many fotographs of a Judy in colour. Maybe these might help;
