Super Cobra
This is the Academy 1/35 AH-1W Super Cobra. Built OOB. Went together fairly easily. The cockpit glass could have fit better, should have posed it open.
Even though the pictures don't show it the finish is rather grainy. Can't remember what paint I was using, some enamel, & wondered why it was going on rough till I realized I wasn't using acrylic & whatever I was using as a reducer was not compatible. Oh well, I learned to like it.

Nice job, first of all. This isn't the Acad/MRC Ltd. Ed. "NTS Update" is it? I had one and sold it after reading about some of the builds that were going haywire. As a matter of fact, I sent a message to the guy that I sold it to (who's a pro modeler) and it's giving him fits and he's on deadline. I bought the more docile Italeri version (which is probably the same as yours?).

I don't believe this is the version you are referring to. It is a 1/35 MRC/ACAD kit but I don't remember anything about it being a ltd edition. The areas I had trouble with was the canopy fit & getting the thing to support itself.
