Eduard 1/48 Polikarpov I-16 type 17
Hello everyone! Yet another donkey- this time ski option. Aftermaket already standard on this model – CMK resin, etched forehead cowl of Gonza, canopy Squadron.
Painted acrylic Gunze, lacquer Microscale, white paint – Tamiya enamel. Scrapes and scratches simulated sandpaper.
When building this model, the internet was turned off – and that’s good))), does not distract. Enjoy!

Man, that’s a great plane Maxim! I just bought the Trumpeter MiG-3 and that’s exactly how I want the paint to look. Thanks for the inspiration!!

A braying “donkey” for sure! (Hee-haw! Hee-haw!) One of the most realistic winter schemes i have seen on a model.

Thank you, Tom!

I’m not a fan of winter cameo. Most folks make the model look like a blank sheet of paper or a Polar Bear lost in a snow storm…and the model looks way too white. In this case the paint looks appropriate for the scale and has just enough weathering (Other than white) to look spot on.
Two thumbs up and ” You like this” +1
