Hasegawa’s Hurricane IIc in 1/48 scale by Tony Prince.
A very nice model kit; the second one I’ve built of Hasegawa’s. Straight out of the box except for the canopy. The RAF in the CBI theatre seems to be largely forgotten & had to soldier on with outdated equipment long after more modern fighters were introduced into Europe & the Mediterranean. Hurricanes in Burma & India were worked hard, but did the job until Spitfires & Thunderbolts arrived. This is my small tribute to the men who flew them.
For those who like bases, I’ve used Woodland Scenics materials & resin figures to dress it up a bit. Paints are Gunze. Clear matt finish is Polyscale. Open canopy is a vac-form from Falcon’s RAF set.
Hope you like it.

This is outstanding. I really like everything you have done with this. I am impressed with the scheme and the mini diorama.

Great model, Tony, it’s always good to see some of the rarer colour schemes.
