Thank you to all the crew !
I am delighted to receive this kit as winner of september Best in Show. It's the model which I had in mind for a long time, and iModeler fulfills my wishes.
I hope to present you a stuning Belgian Airforce plane in the months which come !
Glad to see that it arrived dafely! Enjoy the kit. Iām myself a big fan of the F-104 š
I think we are more both !
I sincerely hope that that isn't your modeling room you're standing in...it's much too clean and neat and would make [most] of us look bad. š
Excellent prize. Love the Starfighter.
Annie my partner preferred that I am not photographed in front of what she calls the mess(brothel) ( my work table).
Must i say she doesn't make models ?
š
Very neat and tidy work area Christian.
Good luck with the 104 mate.
PS, my wife builds models so I am lucky on that count.
Ah yes, so there is no problem when you use strong language on a part lost under the table...
But i should'nt complain, I am as happy in couple as with my models.
Craig, do you know that F104 was called widow-maker ? š
Yes... aka "missile with a man in it" - š
oops...just saw Bernard's post (same nickname). Never heard the 'needle/razor blade' one, though.
Oh, sorry, i said Craig in place of Simon, two comments higher, i was writing to Simon who spoke about her wife whos built models...
Now to Craig : thank you for informations on F104 that That you know very well, it was indeed a dangerous aircraft.
Christian, your work area looks good to me. Mine looks like the result of an explosion or the detritus left after a flood.
I think Eduard took the Hasegawa F-104 and added stuff, as only they can. The decal sheet looks real good!
They also called it the missile with a man in it, or the knotting needle with a razor blade.
Whatta beauty!
Congratulations, looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
I surely hope to honor the prize.
Thank you Bernard, i like image of a needle with a rasor blade.
Congratulations
Thank you so much P.k.
Well deserved Christian! I'm sure the build-up kit will be a stunner, and I can't wait to see it. I've got two 104's in the stash, and I'm more than likely use yours as reference!
Thank you Greg, your two F104 are 1/48 Eduard too ? Happy if i can be a source of inspiration. Must say there are at least two friends here who built the 1/32 Starfighter. I shall take advantage of their experience, model building is, in a way, a collective job.. š
Good job! Also like the He-115 over your shoulder. One of my favorites.
Ah yes, it's a 1/72 Revell kit i made during my come back to kit building. The problem wih it is that i missed painting of some tranparent parts. But it's beautiful model.
Thank you Bryan.
