Hello Thomas…Thanks for sharing your first aircraft build with us. That Hellcat was a nice choice of subjects for sure. What kit did you use? I’m guessing it’s 1/48th scale? I think you’ll find that each succeeding build will be better than the previous one. I doubt there’s any of us that doesn’t remember our first model plane. Thanks again for letting us see your work and I look forward to seeing your next build.

Tamiya WW II U.S. Navy Pilots w/ moto-tug. A nice set that can be used as a group briefing, or the figures parcelled out for various naval aircraft of the period. Aircraft tug is included, with a driver, and two sailors toting a box.
But that’s not all! Also, (drumroll) a pair of wheel chocks! And two kinds of towbars! (rimshot) A must have item! (seriously, this is a worthwhile purchase for your WW II carrier or ground dioramas) And cheaper than resin! More bang for your buck! Or yen, or franc, or piaster!
Item 61107.
Thomas, is the Hobbyboss Hellcat the one with folding wings as an option?
