Here is the Eduard Me 262A-1a. Very good little kit, but I couldn't resist adding a bunch of
P-E from the Brengun set for the B model. My eyes have ordered me back to 1/48!
Thanks to all for your kind comments! Front section of port nacelle was a replacement part on the prototype (Kommando Nowotny circa 9/1944). Scale is 1/144 and the dropped flaps & slats are old school plastic butchery- cut out from kit wings, slats built from stretched sprue and .005 plastic card, and flaps cut from left over 1/48 Fokker E-V trailing edges. Cockpit tub/wheel wells detailed with strips of .005 plastic & stretched sprue.
Nicely done, Stan...a replacement engine nacelle for the port engine? lol 🙂
Yikes! Was that mottling done with a certain Harder and Steenbeck? This one is NATS bound I assume.
nice work, in any scale Stan
Nicely done Stan, love your work
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Great work on that mottling effect Stan.
wow - if that's a penny, that must be 1/144 scale, right? Amazing finish!

Incredible modelling, Stan, really good looking 262.
