1/100 AH-64
I got this as a gift from my Son, a laser cut model by Metal Earth. Two frames with 40 or so parts (some spares)
It took about 6 hours to build. Parts had to be cut out and bent/folded into shape. Individual parts are held together with small tabs which have to be twisted or bent to hold them in place. Quite a lot of detail, but it is very reflective and was difficult to photograph.
My kids got me one of these kits for Christmas 2 years ago. Mine was a star wars tie fighter. Bit more work than they look. Your apache looks nice.
I got this about a year ago, and it was a "look what I found" type of thing. Thanks !
Very cool...almost like a giant Photo-Etch model, huh..? Can you give us some idea of the actual dimensions - unfortunately, there's no "common object" in one of the pics for reference. Again, good job on a rather unique addition to your collection. Turned out great!
Thanks Craig ! She's a grand 5 inches (127 cm) from tip to tip. It's thicker than normal PE. Some of the tabs were difficult to bend over without distorting the shape.
Wow. what nice kit.
Thanks Robert ! It was different. A lot of bending and folding required.

Very striking Phil, nice rare piece. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Thanks D ! Glad you like it. Building it was fun---and I guess that's the goal. Good thing I spent some time in a metal shop.
I like it! I bet this wasn't easy neither!
Thanks Richard ! It wasn't bad--just unfold and flatten it in your mind---you'll get the picture.
Phil, this is great. I've never seen one of these before. Excellent work! You are a premier "folder!"
It was neat !. I may grab another one at some point.
