Louisville Show
Traveled down the Ohio River from Cincinnati with some modeling buddies and spent some time at the Military Modelers Club of Louisville annual show. Two hundred plus models on the tables in just about any category you can imagine.Below is just a sample of some of the fine work that was on display. Well run show, with good vendors and a raffle with lots of excellent kits.
Appears quite a lot of thought and effort went into some of these displays...looks like it was a pretty good show. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
Good standard of modelling and presentation. I like the aircraft carrier and also the Industria Mechanika ship in photo 11. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for posting the great pictures, Tom. It looks like a worthwhile show. The diorama you used as your cover picture is very funny & shows great imagination! That last picture, the 3rd place winner P-38 is outstanding, as are many others.
Shameless plug as the F5E, a.k.a. P-38 is one of mine. Also took a 2nd with a Monogram F-84F. Well run show and all participants seem to enjoy themselves.
It really looks good Tom. I agree with Craig, it's one of my favorites. One of the days I'm thinking about building a P-38 photo plane with the "synthetic haze" paint scheme. Looks good bud. Well deserved award.
Definitely an interesting variety of top quality models.
Gotta watch where you park.[photo 1]. Thanks for the look see.
