Mi-24D Zvezda 1/72
Some time ago, and in 2012, I built the helicopter model Mi-24 from ZVEZDA set in 1/72 scale. Hind always liked me and was foreseen in my plans. When this set came on the market, I knew it was time for the plan. And so began the month-long construction of the model. After 6 months Mi-24D in Polish colors from the period of combat operations in Iraq was ready. I consider the Zvezda model the best model of the Mi-24 on this scale. Exactly reproduced, richly equipped with high-grade castings. I would like to all this set- you will be satisfied. More about the construction of this model in the topic of the Rotary Wing: http://imodeler.com/groups/rotary-wing/forum/topic/mi-24d-zvezda-1-72/
Nice job, Looks great! For me helicopter are difficult to build
Thank you Robert, so far my only helicopter in the collection ... but slowly I'm going to Mi-2 in polish colors. Regards
Exemplary workmanship, sir...turned out quite nicely, I must say.
Thanks for the words of appreciation ... a lot of work but paid off ... I wanted to show more details. Regards
Looks excellent - some very nice detail there. Was all that in the box or did you add anything?
Only the pilot cabin panels are Eduard parts. The set of engines and transmission is just a basic body without detailed additions, wires, etc. I made all these details myself
Krzysztof,
Does the Zvezda Mi-24 have the twist or the off set cockpit arrangement that can be found near the back cockpit. The twist when directly viewed from the helicopter front can be seen near the engine inlets and cockpit too. I couldn't tell from the photo graphs but, if that is there then this kit is very accurate indeed.
Hi Stephen, yes, I can say that this is a very good Zvezda model. In my opinion, the Mi-24 model is the best compatible with the original in this scale. Comparing with the drawings perfectly matches the shape, dimensions and details of this helicopter
