Year in review 2017

December 21, 2017 · in Aviation · · 10 · 1.9K

I consider myself a slow modelbuilder so two finished kits per year are good enough for me and it usually takes me about 6 months to actually finish a model. First off the bench was prehistoric 1/48 Revell A-7, with deck diorama base made from scratch. Second one is He-162 in 48 from Tamiya, with some extra details added, finished just about a week ago.

I wish You all merry Xmas and fantastic 2018! Cheers!

  1. It's not the quantity but the quality that counts Grega. Really outstanding work, really love that carrier base. And a very Merry Christmas to you as well.

  2. Very nice, the A-7 molds are actually from Aurora, bought by Monogram when Aurora folded

  3. Great looking builds Grega. All the best.

  4. You may be slow, but when you DO finish something, it's a piece of art! 🙂

  5. You really captured what the flight deck should be. Nicely done.

  6. Great work, Grega. As Tom said, it's not the quantity, but the quality that counts! Your quality is first rate.

  7. The extra time you take with your builds shows up in the end results. As the others have stated it is a quality vs quantity balance. Your work is amazing and the little Heinkel needs to be posted on here with its own article. I love the late War Luftwaffe stuff. Thanks for sharing your builds with us and Merry Christmas.

  8. Happy New Year, beat that quality of build in 2018. I always prefer quality of finish to No of kits built, well done!

  9. Very, very nice indeed, keep up the good work.

  10. Excellent work - no wonder it takes a while to get them done!
